Corporate Protection

We all know that running a business can be challenging enough without having to worry about the "what if's". It is your responsibility, however, to think about the "what if's" and their implications.

For example:
• What if a shareholder where to die, what impact would it have on the running of the business in terms of continued control for the remaining owners?
• What would be the impact on the deceased shareholders family and there need to secure their own financial security?
• What if a key director/employee dyeing or suffering a critical illness, what impact would this have on the running of the business? What finance, if any, would the Company need to continue to run the business and the cost of replacing the key director/employee?
• What if a director or employee were to suffer a long term illness or accident, what impact would this have on the running of the business? How long do your terms of employment or articles of association state the Company is contracted to continue to pay an individual?
